While participating as a vendor at The Woman’s Club of Wisconsin’s Holiday Boutique, the cry was heard, “I just bought my first bracelet, now I’m a member of Gracie’s Tribe” … and so it began. Now all those who adorn, accent, gift, share, enjoy, or otherwise rock one of our unique bracelets, support The Project Grace Foundation and become members of “Gracie’s Tribe”. This is why you will find a Gracie’s Tribe tag on all our jewelry.

Our newest jewelry created to suit whichever way you choose to wear it. Wrap bracelet, necklace, belt or as a headband/hair tie. Some of our “boho wraps” are all cord others have a fabric piece which can act as a small scarf or headband.

In my recent readings I ran across the Latin phrase: esse quam videri, which when translated means “to be rather than to seem to be.” It struck me as so appropriate not only in our current culture but especially for today.

We have been receiving thank you notes from the various organizations that The Project Grace Foundation was able to donate to this year and again, what a great feeling! Reading about the many ways the monies helped and how they are being used is so rewarding.

Because of you fashion forward, wrist first, Gracie’s Tribe members we were able to spread the love to a number of very deserving organizations supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

One is a refined statement but, who can stop at just one? Two or more become an “ armscape”. Color, texture, line, shape, form, value, pattern, balance, space, contrast, emphasis, proportion, rhythm and harmony all on one or both wrists. Create your own wrist work of art.

It’s the end of August? Where did the time go? Hopefully some of it went to just you! Whether you could read more, stay up later, got together with friends or family or just lounged or moved more, whatever you put your summer into I hope it was beautiful, restful, love filled, moving, enlightening, comfortable or all shook up in all of the above ways. 

What a wonderful word, “frippery”. What a delightful way to describe the our bracelets and other jewelry. We take something that was once loved and well used and reimagine into a fun, perhaps a bit unnecessary or frivolous,  at times “a little too elegant”, if there is such a thing and always ready to add more of or mix and match with other favorite frippery.
